It took me a while to realize that although dance plays a central role in my life, I need other experiences to feed myself. On this page you will find some of what inspires me besides dance.

I love yoga and am a D'ana Baptiste certified yoga teacher. In my free time I volunteer with Yoga Behind Bars, an incredible organization that brings yoga to incarcerated youth and adults in Western Washington.

My roots are in the Netherlands, but I love to travel and live abroad, first in Budapest, then in Salt Lake City, Pocatello and currently Seattle. I deeply appreciate different people, environments, perspectives and traditions.
